An incredible old-time musical that I've seen four times in
the theatres and now plan to wear out my own
copy as I had done learning the choreography of Michael
Jackson's "Thriller". The music, vocals & dance
performances of DreamGirls are dynamic and the choreography, by reknowned
Fatima Robinson,
known for being the choreographer for the popular GAP TV dance commercials
among many other
assignments (including that of being our choreograper in Chris Rock's "Head
Of State") is incredibly
high-energy. We're using the DreamGirls music and some of the movie choreography
for our upcoming
Salsa, American style Rumba, Foxtrot and Bolero showcase dance routines to
be performed by the
"Dancing Kids' Network"
during upcoming charitable events in the Washington DC metropolitan area.
Two examples are the
June 2nd all-charitable event, the
"Out on
The Dance
Floor Charity
Ball",
and an upcoming
"Dancing with the DC Stars"
