2) Greg Scott and Lemery Rollins are finialists at the 2009 WCS Open in November 2009 in Anaheim, CA. They're extensively trained by World Champion west Coast Swing dancers, Robert Royston, John Lindo and Mario Robau. Their new intermediate/advanced class in fine-tuning technique and new choreography each week is from 3pm-4pm on Sundays.

PARKING UPDATE AT THE CHEVY CHASE BALLROOM:
(1) 14 spaces are available at the East end of the Bank Of America parking lot during non-banking hours
(2) 10 spaces directly under the ballroom after 9pm when Paul's Liquor closes
(3) 12 spaces across the street at the BB&T Bank also during non-banking hours (two of which are for handicapped parking).
(4) Friendship Heights red line Metro is three minutes away at the Jennifer St exit
(5) the 30 line Metro bus stops directly across the street into the wee hours to Georgetown and all the way through downtown to Capitol Hill.
(6) Plenty of residential parking (2 hours during daytimes) also available along Harrison St and on the next block East along 42nd St at Harrison St NW behind Fox 5 News.

The weekly Sunday milonga at the Chevy Chase Ballroom is co-hosted by Rene' Davila and Terry Chasteen. The regular Sunday evening Tango classes for both beginner and intermediate/advanced Tango dancers at once take place from 7PM - 8PM.
$15 (or use of 10-class dance card) for both the 7:00PM - 8PM class with dancing until 11PM, $7 admission for Milonga and dancing only from 8:00PM - 11PM or free dancing for anyone taking any earlier Sunday class of any style. 8:00 - 11:00 PM weekly Argentine Tango Milonga in studio B (DJ David Liu)
The weekly Sunday milonga at the Chevy Chase Ballroom is co-hosted by Rene' Davila and Terry Chasteen. The regular Sunday evening Tango classes for both beginner and intermediate/advanced Tango dancers at once take place from 7PM - 8PM.
$15 (or use of 10-class dance card) for both the 7:00PM - 8PM class with dancing until 11PM, $7 admission for Milonga and dancing only from 8:00PM - 11PM or free dancing for anyone taking any earlier Sunday class of any style. Includes soft drinks, lots of snacks and Terry's infamous "pie ala mode"! (once again not to worry, you'll dance it all off to the incredible music by our resident Sunday DJ, David Liu!). Anyone taking any earlier class of any style throughout Sunday is admitted to the weekly Sunday Milonga from 8:00PM - 11PM and/or the Salsa & Latin dance in the adjacent studio from 7PM - 9PM without extra charge ------ every Sunday.

In addition to the ABSOLUTE BEST in traditional Tango music, as a DJ of all styles, Mark plays one or two tandas of great non-Tango selections (Salsa, Cha Cha, Swing, Hustle, Merengue, Social Rumba) by request later in the night for those who are also Latin, Rhythm and Swing dancers. Come early to the mini-workshops and prepare for some of the other dance styles.

3) 13 spaces directly across the street at the BB&T Bank, including 2 handicapped spaces (also during non-banking hours),
4) Metro is 3 minutes away at the Jennifer St exit of the Friendship Hts red line,
5) The 30 line Metro bus stops directly across the street into the wee hours to Georgetown and all the way through downtown DC to Capitol Hill.
6) Plenty of parking is also available along Harrison St and on the next block East along 42nd St behind WTTG Fox 5 News at Harrison, NW.

Please bring any used/unwanted or even new items in good condition for the donation to the orphans of the war victims. Hitomi and DJ Mark Sakowski gave 20% donation from our admissions for fund raising to the orphans of the war. If it is not for kids or too expensive, we will change to a silent auction as opposd to donating directly. Also in studio A the incredibly talented John Erban & Clarissa Sanchez taught a wonderful pre-milonga workshop on Saturday, October 31st from 8:30 to 9:30PM before the milonga plus they performed for us during the milonga (along with the COMPLETE CAST, to our surprise of 'FOREVER TANGO'. We invited the cast of Luis Bravo's "Forever Tango" but had no idea that the complete cast would attend!).

9:30PM - 5:00AM the 'All-Night Halloween Milonga' (DJ Mark Sakowski offering the best in traditional Tango music and more. Including general dancing each week in Salsa & the Latin dances (Cha Cha, Merengue, Bachata, Rumba, Cumbia, Bolero and more) in studio A with the music of the SAOCO DC Salsa Rueda Team. And in Argentine Tango we'll be dancing to the great sounds of DJ David Liu. Rene' Davila is our resident Sunday evening Tango teacher for the intermediate and advanced levels at the Chevy Chase Ballroom from 7-8pm and Terry will always be present for those newcomers and beginners who still want just the basics.
Each week you can take advantage of Rene's expertise and popular teaching style. Rene' and Terry will be teaching both brand new beginner and intermediate-to-advanced classes at the same time.
All of this followed by a milonga for practice and social dancing, including refreshments and PLENTY of ongoing music until 11pm with DJ David Liu EVERY SUNDAY!

Drop-in classes $15 per person (milonga and the Salsa Social in the second studio are always included free with any Sunday class taken throughout the day. parking is often available during non-banking hours next door at the intersection of
Harrison St, NW and Wisc Ave, NW. Drive East onto Harrison and left into the
Bank Of America lot. Signs say they'll tow, but only during banking hours. We are

Numerous additional drop-in classes in Ballroom, Salsa & the Latin dances, Tango, Swing & more are available during the week and on weekends to perfect the technique and basic in the social dances in general to save time and make your private coaching appointments for your first dance more productive. In addition we have weekly and monthly social dance events and practice opportunities (which always have teachers available for your assistance) to learn more patterns and to perfect those that you my have already learned in class or during your private coaching. In spite of what a lot of the major dance corporations insist, you needn't spend a fortune to put on a "Knock-out" First Dance performance at your wedding. For who: Our classes and social dance events are for everyone of all races, ages, religions affiliations, genders and orientations of affection.
