Attendants who
might be interested in training to assist in
"Wheelchair
Dancing"
Do you know
people who are confined to wheelchairs?
Well they,
too, should be dancing!...
Call me at 202-462-0870
if you might be interested in a future "Wheelchair
Dancing" program or if you know of someone else
in a wheelchair who might be. It's time that they, too "stop
watching"
everyone
else have all the fun and "Start
Having" it, themselves.
I've witnessed
some incredible Wheelchair Dancing performances and competitions and
I've decided that it's time that I begin to use my teaching skills in
a brand new arena. We will need some volunteers in case you or anyone
that you might know would be interested. Previous or ongoing experience
in the Ballroom, latin, Swing and other couples' dances is naturally
helpful, though not absolutely necessary.
Neither
competitor need be lesbian or gay to compete. These events are open
to everyone and only have gender requirements for the different divisions.
A competitive couple is composed of one person in a wheelchair and the
other dancing in the upright position.
